The Sandbox’s very first beach volleyball league session is about to start! We cant wait to get you all through the doors and playing some great volleyball in our silky soft sand. Please share our league information with other local players right away to help us fill up all of the remaining league team openings!
We will be running the first 3 weeks of this session as a “preview league”, starting the week of September 16th (more info below). Scheduled league matches will start the week of October 7th. The league session will be off the week of November 25th for Thanksgiving, and will run through the week of December 16th.
Our goal with the Preview League is to allow opportunities for additional teams to join, and also to determine Division levels and schedules. It will be akin to a “soft opening” for our Sandbox Ambassador crew as well as we nail down our operations so you all get the best beach volleyball experience possible
Here’s what you need to Know and Do for the Preview League…
– Preview schedule mirrors Regular Season schedule…
Monday: Mixed 4s & Mixed 6s – Tuesday: Womens 2s & Mixed 6s
Wednesday: Mens 2s – Thursday: Coed 2s & Mixed 4s
– Arrive any time after 5:30pm for an “evening with The Sandbox”
– No cost to participate during preview leagues
– Bring some food and drink with you, or go grab some takeout from local restaurants
– You’ll have the opportunity to meet all of the other teams and socialize throughout the evening
– Courts will be made available on a first come, first serve basis. Teams will be rotated off and play games to 15 if teams are waiting
– Individuals welcome! We will match you up with an appropriate team/other individuals.
– 4s & 6s teams: RSVP with a time of arrival and you get
- Sandbox Swag for whole team
- 1st in queue for next open court
- The earlier the RSVP better the swag (First week only)
- RSVP please provide captain name, phone, team size, time (please keep it to 30 min increment, ex: 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 ect)
- RSVP must match up correctly with schedule
- Will be confirming RSVP with all teams.
